I’m gearing up for my second year at the Toronto Blockchain Futurist Conference, and my emotions are a mix of excitement and nerves. The prospect of diving into the latest innovations in Blockchain and AI fills me with anticipation, yet I can’t shake off a slight feeling of being out of my depth. While I’m passionate about blockchain technology and constantly exploring it, the field is vast and ever-expanding.
Reflecting on my days as a techno magazine writer, I remember the confidence and perhaps a touch of youthful arrogance I had back then. Now, with the vast resources and information available, the expectations seem even higher. However, this only fuels my inspiration to rekindle my inner journalist—or should I say, blogger?
I’m not sure if I’m biting off more than I can chew or if it’s just the polar plunge vibes at Rebel Nightclub—seriously, it’s so cold in there, you’d think they were mining Bitcoin! But, here are the panels that have piqued my interest and which I’m hoping to dive deep into for some insightful blog posts:
*Fireside Chat with WonderFi: Meme coins, social investing, and DeFi – how retail trading will continue to evolve.
*Regulation Panel: Canadian Web3 Regulations: Catching Up and Staying Ahead Globally
*Global Regulations: A Worldly Perspective on the Landscape and Staying Ahead Globally
*NFT Panel: The Future of NFTs: Innovation, Investment, and Cultural Impact
*Web3 for the Masses: Building Decentralized Tech for Global Adoption
*Blockchain Bootcamp by ETHChicago: How To Be A No-Code Creative

*AI & Ethics Roundtable
*AI Panel: AI Innovations from Deepfakes to Gaming- Exploring the Cutting Edge of AI

There are many Web3 & AI events going on in the city, so we will see how much I can consume. Stay Tuned!
